West Oxfordshire District Council is asking residents to be neighbourly and considerate as we spend more time at home.

A building which helps form the centrepiece of a West Oxfordshire Village is set to hit its fundraising target thanks to a loan from the District Council.

The Council is working closely with the Government to process both the business rates relief scheme and distribute the business grants announced in response to the COVID-19 crisis. 

Residents and businesses are being urged not to dump waste in communal recycling areas.

West Oxfordshire District Council has announced how it will support businesses with the social distancing measures in place to reduce the impact of coronavirus (Covid-19).

So that the council can continue providing its services, and in keeping with the current government instruction, all front desks are now closed, including Woodgreen.

A ceremony to mark the official opening of a long-awaited refurbishment and extension of a popular play area have been out on hold due to the Coronavirus.

The work of the voluntary and community sector across Oxfordshire is invaluable and the county has some of the best initiatives across the country.  It is therefore no surprise that all local authorities in the county have been inundated with offers of help and support.

West Oxfordshire District Council will be supporting businesses throughout the district in response to the unprecedented economic impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

In consideration of new Government guidance to stop non-essential contact with others, all Council meetings are postponed until further notice.
