Leader of West Oxfordshire District Council Andy Graham has reflected on the Council's achievements against a demanding local and national landscape. The past year has presented a number of challenges, including the cost of living crisis, the war in Ukraine and the continued economic impact of the global pandemic.

West Oxfordshire District Council has announced a wide range of support to help local community groups and individuals who may be struggling during the cost of living crisis.

West Oxfordshire District Council has today written to 239 households across the district to inform them the Council will be providing additional financial support to them to help with the rising costs of energy bills.

West Oxfordshire District Council in partnership with leisure operator and charitable social enterprise Better have agreed a new winter timetable for council-owned swimming pools that will help protect leisure centres in the face of this winter’s huge spike in utility costs.
