Pumpkin fun comes to Marriotts Walk this half term

Pumpkins are popping up at Marriotts Walk this half term as the shopping centre welcomes families for a week of free seasonal fun from 26 to 31 October.

Young visitors can take part in a free Pumpkin Trail around the centre, while a special pop-up Pumpkin Patch will add an extra touch of autumn magic and provide a great spot for family photos.

The event forms part of an ongoing programme of activities designed to bring people into Marriotts Walk and Witney town centre. The shopping centre has seen footfall increase by 23.7% year on year, highlighting its continued growth as a shopping, leisure and community destination.

Duncan Enright, Councillor at West Oxfordshire District Council, said:

“It’s fantastic to see Marriotts Walk continuing to go from strength to strength. Events like the Pumpkin Trail will give families a spooky reason to come into Witney this half term, enjoy themselves and spend time in the town centre, while supporting our local businesses.

“With footfall rising and almost every unit occupied, there is a real sense of momentum at Marriotts Walk. We want to build on that success by continuing to create a welcoming, vibrant place for residents and visitors throughout the year.”

The Pumpkin Trail and pop-up Pumpkin Patch will run from 26 to 31 October and are free to enjoy.
