Last chance to submit your projects for the spring funding round of Westhive
Time is running out to submit your project ideas to the Westhive platform, ahead of the closing of the application window for the spring funding round on Wednesday 24 April.
Giles Hughes, Chief Executive Officer for West Oxfordshire District Council, said:
“As the application deadline for the current round of funding draws near, we encourage anyone with a community project idea to submit their applications to the platform.
“The projects we've seen so far are a testament to the passion and creativity of our communities, and we are eager to show our support for more of your ideas.
“No matter how big or small, your ideas could drive positive change in your area. So, help us make West Oxfordshire an even better place for people to live, work, and visit.”
Since its launch in September 2023, Westhive has pledged almost £30k to four projects aimed at improving communities across the district. Notable successes include Cycles of Good and Cotswolds Arts Through Schools, which have already received funding pledges to support their initiatives.
Westhive aims to support innovative and impactful projects that allow residents to influence and make a real difference in their communities. Whether it's a sports club, a community garden, or hosting big events, Westhive is dedicated to bringing your ideas to life. Projects must be clear and tangible, demonstrating where backers’ contributions will go.
The deadline for applications for the Spring round is Wednesday 24 April. Projects must be fully costed and permissions secured by this date. Find out more or submit your project at https://www.spacehive.com/movement/westhive/
