Guidance on installation of screens for taxi drivers

While installation is a matter of choice for vehicle owners, if they want to go ahead then the guidance will help them and they need to notify the Council.

Cllr Norman MacRae, Cabinet Member for Licensing, said: “This is a very much a personal choice for the driver and it is possible a screen could help protect both them and their passengers from transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

“We have produced some guidance to help drivers ahead of non-essential retail businesses opening next week.”
